Standards of Conduct and Discipline
All employees of Beeville Police Department are held to high standards of conduct and discipline in order to preserve an essential relationship of trust and confidence within the community.
To preserve this relationship of trust, the Department’s integrity is maintained through an internal system whereby consistency, objectivity, fairness, and justice are ensured by an impartial review and investigation of complaints to include Racial Profiling on employees of the Beeville Police Department at the direction and under the authority of the Chief of Police.
The department has a policy against racial profiling and accepts complaints on it employees for this matter. Racial Profiling is described as a law enforcement related action based on an individual’s race, ethnicity or national origin rather than on the individual’s behavior or on information identifying the individual as having engaged in criminal activity.
