Veteran's Memorial Park

Veteran's Memorial Park is the City's largest community park at approximately 200 acres.  This park is bounded by Minnesota Street on the east, Flores Street on the south, and by Viggo Road on the north.  Adjacent to the park on its west side is the City's Municipal Golf Course.  Veteran's Memorial Park is used by the entire city and contains the following equipment and facilities:

• 5 lighted baseball diamond bleachers
• 5 baseball fields with backstops
• 1 concession building
• 12 picnic tables with grills
• 23 picnic tables without grills
• 1 football/soccer field with bleacher
• 9 hole golf course
• 18 hole disc golf
• 2 swing sets
• 2 slides
• 1 seesaw
• 2 covered pavilion areas
• 2 restroom buildings
