General Police Information


Sex Offenders

Sex offenders that live in Beeville and who properly register are listed here generally within seven days of registration. They are required by law to keep their information updated.

Texas Search 

At any time, you may go directly to the Texas Department of Public Safety Sex Offender Registration website to locate all Texas State registered offenders. Individuals currently registered with the Beeville Police Department are listed within the TxDPS Sex Offender Registry. All addresses will be Beeville, Texas 78102, unless otherwise noted.


Records Division

The primary function of the Records Division is storage, retention, destruction, and retrieval of both electronic and manual records. To contact records, call 361-358-8100, Press Option #3 or send email to krystal.espinosa@beevillepd.org. The Records Division's hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.

Open Record Requests

The Public Information Act governs information that a governmental body collects, assembles or maintains and states that the information is, in general, either open to all members of the public or closed to all members of the public. To request police records, you can complete the online request for information.

Alarm Permits

The City of Beeville's residential and business alarm ordinance went into effect in October 2005. To apply for an alarm permit, please download and complete the alarm permit application. There is a $25 application fee. Pay by check or money order and make payable to the City of Beeville.

Warrants

If an individual's citation is in warrant status, they are subject to arrest by any Texas law enforcement officer. Warrants can be cleared in one of the following ways:

  • Pay the warrant in full, in person, at the Court's Clerk's window.
  • Post a cash bond in person at the Court Clerk's window.
  • Post an attorney or surety bond in person or by mail.

NOTICE

Warrant payments made by mail or online will not clear the warrant until the court receives the payment. The court will usually receive your payment the following business day from the date it was paid inline. Until the payment is received, the individual is subject to arrest. Failure to appear or pay the citation by the court date assigned will incur additional fines, fees, and costs. These files must be downloaded, printed, completed, and then faxed or mailed back to the address that appears on the form. Other files are online forms, requiring only that they be opened, completed, and submitted.
